Find Out How the Community-Based Perinatal Resource Centre Planned for the West Island Will Serve Your Needs

Even though pregnancy and childbirth are part of a natural physiological process, the birth of a child is a time of transition and vulnerability for women, couples and families. Perinatal centres are community resources that help families through the steps and stages of parenthood. To find out about the Quebec network of perinatal centres, log on to www.reseaudescrp.org

With more than 2000 births in our territory each year, the West Island is an ideal setting for a perinatal resource centre (PRC). At the PRC, mothers, fathers, and families can find all of the information and support they need – from the early days until their child reaches his/her second birthday – all in a friendly, respectful environment.

The Perinatal Resource Centre is designed to serve all types of families from all socioeconomic backgrounds — traditional families, single-parent families, blended families, and immigrant families.
